Home Owner Questions and Tips

​Insurance: Ask your insurance agent about getting an HO6 insurance policy. This is an insurance policy that is specially designed for condo owners and it could save you $$$ big time. Call your agent today!
Garbage: If you have refuse that does not fit in your garbage can, it CANNOT go on curb. You must dispose of it yourself by other means.
Electronics: can be recycled at the 24/7 e-recycling bin located at the village's public works: 1336 Cornell Road. A fee is required for certain items.
Hazardous materials policy: (as well as other information on refuse and recycling) is on Village of Howard's website.
Shoveling snow off patios: reduces the chance of having water in your basement. The condo association is not responsible for damage to property caused by water.

Deer, birds, and other animals: Do not feed the animals (feeding deer is illegal per city ordinance and state law), do not trap the animals.
No bird feeders on property
Pets: Dogs and cats must be leashed at all times when outside. All pet refuse must be picked up immediately. A maximum of
2 pets is allowed per unit.
